Hello, I am waiting from the user to provide me the screenshots of the process about installing the APP. When I will have them I will write you back.
Thanks in advance. ------- [cid:d69727f8-f805-49d7-974e-2c6ef243f0d6] José Truan Valdés - [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Operador Área Técnica de Comunicaciones Vicerrectorado de Sostenibilidad y Digitalización Universidad de Oviedo Edificio Severo Ochoa C/ Fernando Bongera s/n, Campus del Cristo 33006 - Oviedo, Asturias ________________________________ De: [email protected] <[email protected]> en nombre de J.H. <[email protected]> Enviado: lunes, 23 de junio de 2025 20:27 Para: [email protected] <[email protected]> Asunto: Re: [Linphone-users] APP does nothing after scanning QR code on iPhone Hi, which QR code? From where? A QR code needs to be a valid URL to a valid remote provisioning file for linphone, whoever gave you the QR code, needs to make sure that's the case. We need to find out if it's a problem with the iOS app, or your code. Does the QR code work on other linphone instances? Linphone themselves do not provide QR codes for remote provisioning, with one exception: https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://wiki.linphone.org/xwiki/wiki/public/download/Lib/Features/Remote*20Provisioning/WebHome/remote_provisioning.jpg?width=300&height=300&rev=1.1__;JQ!!D9dNQwwGXtA!UvetN8I_McG99BsC1CEmOuJAjBv_dg0mIfQA1-nBVM1yTKdcCe_UtN4K9FbePb7oxdnpnBQsF2jVMINTvvsZQLJJ$ which is only for testing. What it *should* do, is set up an account to the name of "Bilbo Baggins", that fails to register because there aren't any valid credentials with it. You could probably use that to verify if the QR code based provisioning is working at all with th iOS app, but if it is, then providing the correct code & config, would be up to the organization issuing it. They could contact linphone for bussiness if they're needing help with professional deployment. J. P.S. another thing to try, would be scanning your QR code with a browser. If you do that with the test QR I linked, you should see linphone's sample remote provisioning file. Opening the QR code you were given, should produce a similar file. Maybe it doesn't, e.g. because the file was deleted after one use/attempt. On Mon, 23 Jun 2025, JOSE TRUAN VALDES wrote: > Good morning, > > I have an issue with LinPhone and iPhone.
