Hi, I have a G5 processor and got an IFL engine with the other processors. We created a separate LPAR that will run z/VM 4.2 and will eventually have allof our Linux servers as guests on this one z/VM LPAR with Z/VM 4.2.
I have different kinds of Linux servers which I would like to clone on the fly. I would like to do these operations although a web interface (perl, php) using hcp (http://penguinvm.princeton.edu/programs/cpint-1.1.2.tar.gz) to run REXX scripts to make the cloning. I would like to know if someone has tried this operation or if you have any ideas about this project ? Thanks.
