You need to supply the correct portname as set on the shared OSA card (one of your other LPARs probably set it). You can see it on the HMC. The portname goes either in your /etc/modules.conf or (if you have a kernel with Channel Device active, in the /etc/chandev.conf). You can insmod the device driver yourself once from the console in linemode and issue the 'ifconfig' and 'route' commands to get the network up and then edit the config file.
