Which distribution are you using (RedHat 7.2 GA, RC2 or the downloadable
version of GA) and is this under VM or in an LPAR? I'm running RC2 that
installed (initially, at least) with no real problems - but you MUST
remember to merge the two CD's into one big FTP directory or the install
will definitely fail.

I saw a similar post by Peter Bishop earlier on this identifying a bug in
the 7.2 GA distribution that looks in the wrong place for a file which he
has identified a work around for.

Note to RedHat: It would be GREAT if the install program, when unable to
find a particular file, abended with a meaningful message. If memory serves
me, it just loops forever trying to get the file it will never get. Just a
suggestion. :)
