You install it properly with an rpm. If your vendor doesn't have one,
you should express dissatisfaction with the the support.


If you want to create a new one yourself, install your vendor's most
recent source rpm and create another modelled on it.

Install it, check it, and publish your work for the enjoyment of others
and for your own fame;-)
