I've used Object Rexx under OS/2 and WinNT to link Oracle and a 3270 application. Object Rexx is a quantum leap in functionality from classic Rexx.
It's a terrific intro to OOP -- unfortunately not much of a resume credential. With Mod_Rexx providing an Apache interface, it looks like a fantastic web tool. NetRexx can be called a variant of Object Rexx that translates into Java and can use and be used by all the Java Class libraries. Pipeline fans will be happy to learn that there is a NetRexx package that does most of it.
