If you've got the CDs for SLES7, go to the Developer's Edition CD1 and install the compat.rpm. This installs the same libraries again under the old names from 2.2.16. Websphere presumes you are running 2.2.16 and does not support 2.4.7 yet (we called IBM). The compat.rpm should fix the problem.
