Robert,

Not really. The wget command works nicely for that:
wget -m ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/7.2/en/os/s390/images
wget -m ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/7.2/en/os/s390/RedHat/

and you're done. If your download gets interrupted in the middle, you only
have to download those files that weren't already finished instead of the
whole 600MB+ (wget figures that out for you). Once downloaded, you can burn
a CD if you want to free up the space again. I have wget installed on my MS
desktop and use it for a lot of things.

It's nice having a choice, I agree, but for a lot of reasons, not having
.iso files available doesn't really bother me at all.

The problem is that you have to go through the directory tree and download
all the individual files or directories. An .iso file would allow you to do
a single FTP command and get the complete set. I do have enough room on my
PC for the files, but first, I don't plan on tying up that space long term
(there're lots of .iso files that can be downloaded... :) and second, I'd
like to be sure I've not missed anything, and downloading two or three .iso
files beats downloading hundreds of individual files.

Note to RedHat: Your two competitors have .iso files on their sites. They
were easy to download, I know that I have all the necessary files, and I
have copies of them for our trial. Your site has individual files and no
.iso's. I don't have a copy of your Linux for our trial. Which do you think
I'm going to use for our trial of Linux on the mainframe. When the trial's
over, if we decide to run with the ball, do you think we'll choose one of
the vendors we've tried, or one we haven't. Think about it.
