Does anyone know how to send messages to the "console" (i.e. operating system messages item) on the HMC? Please DO NOT, and I repeat DO NOT respond to this with any GPL-licensed code examples. I'm looking for a general description or a pointer in the right direction. The closest I have come is the SERVC instruction, which is undocumented, and, as far as I can tell, not supported in GAS.
