I started on linux less than a year after I began my AIX training. Bash was one of (maybe the) the first things I "imported" to my AIX systems.... and when budget time came and I heard we were spending 1600 a year for the compiler, I made my boss very happy (and confused!) by telling him to drop it! Generally, for work which is not system admin I can't tell which environment I'm on (except that my desktop gives me different bg screens for the different boxen I work on). Hey, has anyone done "smit", and "src" in linux? (linuxconf is prettier but clumbsier!). -- TWZ +-------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Copyright 2002 by Terrence W. Zellers.
