        Hey!  I started on linux less than a year after I began my AIX
training.  Bash was one of (maybe the) the first things I "imported"
to my AIX systems.... and when budget time came and I heard we were
spending 1600 a year for the compiler, I made my boss very happy (and
confused!) by telling him to drop it!
         Generally, for work which is not system admin I can't tell which
environment I'm on (except that my desktop gives me different bg screens
for the different boxen I work on).   Hey, has anyone done "smit", and
"src" in linux? (linuxconf is prettier but clumbsier!).
