You use different remote printer queue names to differentiate the ports.
The print server supports 3 basic names: 'raw', 'text', and 'auto' (raw
takes, well raw formatted output for the printer, text is for text files,
and auto automatically switches between text and raw as necesary). . You
indicate which port by appending a 1, 2, or 3 to the name, eg auto1, auto2,
auto3. I recommend using the auto queues unless you're trying to drive a
plotter or some such. The names ARE case sensitive.

So, to set up a printer on port 3 with Yast, use the IP address or host name
(nag: why don't you have your printers in DNS?) and a remote printer name of
auto3. It should "just work" from there. Note that the autoswitching
function does *not* recode output -- if you send PostScript or PCL to a
printer, it has to be able to handle the output; the JetDirect just turns on
CR/LF processing and some other minor stuff if it decides it's text, else it
passes it on without comment.
