Don't forget that there is a batch email interface for searching archives as
well. Send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the words:

search "<target>" in linux-390

in the body of the message, replacing <target> with the phrase you're
looking for. While it's a little more work, it's usually a LOT faster than
the WWW interface.
