If you need broadcast, you should go with virtual OSAs rather than Virtual HiperSockets. Both are supported in z/VM 4.3. The only difference is whether you CP DEFINE LAN OWNER LANID TYPE HIPER or CP DEFINE LAN OWNER LANID TYPE QDIO Adam
