Hi Rich,
We have serius problems with OSA Fast Ethernet (10/100).The symptom is:
*SNA/TCPIP osa port (OS390): stop
*TCPIP osa port (vm-linux): stop.
IBM said: Not use even port for all - OSA witch VM (Linux) and OS390 (TPCIP/SNA)-. 
They are not have a solution for this problem. No fix (microcode).

You say they changed your card, but the bigger question is:  Did they give you
updated microcode?
