Dave,

      It's actually stupider than that.  Basically a "quickstart" to put up
both an Enemalator on a PC *and* an S/390 Linux "ready to run" image.

      This is for those of us who don't have a "real" s/390 (or p/390) to
doink with (and the necessary network environment) and, while competent w/
Linux on pSeries and xSeries (PPC and intel, respectively) can't handle the
s/390 hardware behaviour and how to deal with it's DASD.

      What an admission.

I'm not clear on what, exactly, you're asking for:

1) a simple to install (turnkey) Linux image for the S/390 environment,
or
2) a simple to install Linux CD for the Intel environment?

I think there are both of these types of CDs available....
