Dave, It's actually stupider than that. Basically a "quickstart" to put up both an Enemalator on a PC *and* an S/390 Linux "ready to run" image.
This is for those of us who don't have a "real" s/390 (or p/390) to doink with (and the necessary network environment) and, while competent w/ Linux on pSeries and xSeries (PPC and intel, respectively) can't handle the s/390 hardware behaviour and how to deal with it's DASD.
