They are running a three tier system.
1) Web Interface frontend
2) Websphere on xSeries 330's, doing java business logic
3) Database backend (Oracle on Solaris last I heard)

is IBM's announcement.  It says they run xSeries 330's, which run Intel
stuff (probably Linux). They are running WebSphere 4.0.
