Yeah, that I knew about. I was using "SCSI tape" as a generic term for
non-34xx tape.

The question in my head is: how many customers actually have FCP tape
support installed, vs the thousands that have perfectly good 3480/3490-based
silos? The TSM server for Linux can't use the existing 3480/3490 silos at
all AFAIK.

At least Amanda gives you exits to call the UTS Global code for manipulating
the silo.
