Probably not the most appropriate mail group for this question, but here's hoping someone on zLinux has done this. I am trying to take my /etc/passwd, /etc/shadow, and /etc/group files make LDIFs and load them into OpenLDAP. I have run into numerous problems which I am certain I can trace back to my limited knowledge of OpenLDAP, but none the less I am wondering has anyone done this with success? If so what steps, suggestions, schema, documentation were used to execute the implementation?
