I am running SuSE Linux in a native LPAR. I change a default value using
the following command:

sysctl -w kernel.msgmax=40960

This value is lost after reboot. I created /etc/sysctl.conf with the
following contents:

# sysctl.conf sample
#
kernel.msgmax = 40960

However after each reboot, the command sysctl ?a reveals kernel.msgmax =
8192. Do I need to put sysctl ?p command in some boot script? If so, which
one would be best? Thanks in advance.

Peter
