Hi,
Yes. I am doing the installation using installer script.
I have tried to install compat package long time back, but it gave me GLIBC_2.3 required problem. Fact is that i didn't uninstall/delete these  libraries at that time.
So this particular compat package is in dependency inconsistency state. Yast throws this every time i try to update packages.

Will it be a problem if i uninstall or delete compat packages which involves libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3.

Regards,
Srinivas.

Srinivas,

Did you install the compat package?
