We are moving a website from USS to a Redhat image and are running into a problem
transferring the data over. I'm more familiar with the Unix side of things and
assumed this would just involve a simple tar, ftp, and untar of the data.
Unfortunately I'm running into a problem with the different code sets. Doing the
basic tar/untar leaves all of my text files corrupt and if I issue a:

pax ofrom=IBM-1047,to=ISO8859-1 -wLf source, pax -noext dir

the binary files are then corrupt.

Does anyone know of a way to transfer over all the files and do the proper code set
translation? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Justin.
