I wonder how to define VIPA correctly.
After defining VIPA for the TCPIP guest I can reach/ping the z/VM LPAR at
three IP addresses (see under for extract of profile tcpip).
When I take a look at the devices I can see OSA device 1500 is used but
OSA device 1300 is not used???
Where else do I have to define other/additional OSA devices e.g. to use
them with VIPA?

Anyone an Idea?

extract profile tcpip:

DEVICE VDEV1 VIRTUAL 0
LINK VIPA1 VIRTUAL 0 VDEV1
DEVICE [EMAIL PROTECTED] OSD 1500 PORTNAME OSACH05
LINK ETH0 QDIOETHERNET [EMAIL PROTECTED]
DEVICE [EMAIL PROTECTED] OSD 1300 PORTNAME OSACHFC
LINK ETH1 QDIOETHERNET [EMAIL PROTECTED]
; (End DEVICE and LINK statements)
; -------------------------------------------------------
HOME
  10.12.100.10 VIPA1 ; <-- SOURCEVIPA for ETH0 and ETH1
  10.12.100.08 ETH0
  10.12.100.09 ETH1
; (End HOME Address information)

Kind Regards,
