Short answer: yes. Longer answer: Defining an LPAR as Linux Only is what tells the system that you want that workload to be dispatched on IFLs -- what's the L in IFL stand for again? ;) The fact that z/VM is not Linux is not important here -- you are running z/VM to support Linux workload.
