We are setting up a vswitch and our problem is we can't use the same OSA subnet for the vswitch IP addresses without redesigning our whole OSA and OSPF network. My question is 'Can Linux on a vswitch point to a zVM static VIPA as its gateway instead of a LAN router gateway to reach the network?' That way we could maintain our current OSA subnet and OSPF as is.
