Folks: 1) This is a proposal under discussion, not a statement of direction from the Debian support team. 2) Debian on 390 has some strong supporters (we burn enough cycles supporting the development and build systems...) 3) Nothing is permanent or un-fixable in the open source world...8-). 4) 390 is definitely not the hold up for releasing sarge.
