Ok, I've beat my head against the wall for 2 days now, googled, searched
archives, etc... I can't find this anywhere.

 - I went out and downloaded the kernel.debian, initrd.debian and
parmfile.debian files from
ftp://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/dists/woody/main/disks-s390/3.0.23-2002-0
521/vmrdr/.
 - I downloaded qdio-2.4.17-s390-7.tar.gz
<http://awlinux1.alphaworks.ibm.com/developerworks/linux390/current2_4_x
-august2001.shtml#ocos2417_20031205> and qeth-2.4.17-s390-7.tar.gz
<http://awlinux1.alphaworks.ibm.com/developerworks/linux390/current2_4_x
-august2001.shtml#ocos2417_20031205> from
http://awlinux1.alphaworks.ibm.com/developerworks/linux390/current2_4_x-
august2001.shtml#ocos2417_20031205.
 - I downloaded the mkinitrd2.sh file from people.debian.org/~sgybas and
created the initrd2.debian file.
 - I've ftp'd these files to VM (using all of the right ftp settings -
bin, locsite fix 80, etc).
 - I then execute my debian exec on z/VM 5.1.
 - It comes up with option "4" (qeth: OSA-Express in QDIO mode /
HiperSockets) but when I try to go from there I get

Unresolved symbols show_trace in qeth.o

Are these files not the latest? How do I get around this?
