It looks like you have a newer version of y2base that is running against an older version of liby2pm.so.2. This may be a SUSE/YOU induced bug. I would check the maintenance portal to see if there is a newer version of the package that contains liby2pm.so.2, and use wget to download it if there is.

I have downloaded the SLES9 and SLES9x ISO files from the Novell website and gone through a few installations. My current installation is a 64bit minimal system with certain specific applications added via yast. I have done a few Online Updates through the yast panels, before and after loading those extra applications. Then I went on vacation. Now I am back and today I finished up some cosmetic updates (/etc/banner, /etc/motd, /etc/login.defs, etcetera). Then I went to do another Online Update and got this error message and some sort of linend misformating. usr/lib/YaST2/bin/y2base: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/lib64/liby2pm.so.2: undefined symbol: _ZN6VendorC1ERKSs Is this something I screwed up in some previous update or is this indicative of my trial subscription expiring? /Tom Kern __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
