If you have a Novell/SUSE support contract, report these as bugs. If you don't, and no one else does, these issues won't get fixed.

Again using yast, when expanding a LV, the filesystem in it should automatically be expanded. It does so with a reiserfs; but for ext2, yast reports that it does but command df says that it didn't. I had to use resize2fs. Linux as an "appliance"? I think they should bullet-proof yast first. But then again, it'll be long awhile before mainframe becomes an appliance.
