We did a "minimum install" without KDE for SLES9 on a z890.
Then, we activated "remote administration under yast" and some X rpm's were
installed.
When we ssh and start vncserver and run yast2 from a vnc client under
windows (the same when using the IE browser) we run into a situation.
The last few rows of pixels on the yast2 screen are missing. It is not a
problem in most screens where there is a lot of room, but in
"software->install/remove programs", the "IGNORE" and "INSTALL" buttons are
missing. I figured out what the buttoms were by using yast.
I suspect the problem is with framebuffer. If it was X, i would think it
is one of the "mode" parameters but I can't find XF86Config anywhere.
if anybody know a way around this, it will be appreciated.
