If you executed "enable_autostart" then daemon will automatically run as
user-id/group="nobody".
It will become effective after the IPL and we had one today.

Dont know anything about what you are doing. Is it perhaps a permissions
issue?
Is it running as root or under a different user? Does the user haver
permissions to create / open files in that directory?

Hi Listserv,
Just installed rmfpms_s390x_kernel26.tgz . After the reboot, I see a lot
of messages in /var/log/messages , such as :
