That's the theory.
Avoiding the translation ("binary mount" as some call it)
means you get byte-for-byte the same content on either side.
But you still will have file NAMES to consider
IFF you have any files with "unusual" names.
If not, I would not worry about that. But depending on
where the 'tar' commands are executed, this may be no problem.
