Hi list,

i tried to enable the "VM Shared Kernel Support" in SLES9.

After installation of SLES9 i performed following steps:

cd /usr/sr/linux
make cloneconfig
make menuconfig (to enable VM Shared Kernel Support)
make image
cp image /boot/image-nss
zipl iplnss

After rebooting the system "cat /proc/iomem" show lokks the same as before
...

Here my /proc/iomem, zipl.conf and the /boot

Is the a new HOWTO for kernel 2.6. I just found documentation regarding
2.4.
