This is, unfortunately, not true.
I distinctly remember requiring a certain patchlevel to SLES 7 to be
able to use guest LANs either for HiperSockets or virtual OSAs. And
since SLES 7 postdated SuSE 7, I strongly suspect SuSE 7 doesn't work
in that environment either.
