Thank you very much for the updated script. This makes it so much easier for people like myself. I always said that the hardest thing about Linux on the z/Series is trying to read the CD/ROMs.
I ran the script and receive the following normal messages: Making a 64-bit SLES9 tree ... SP2 ISO images found The tree will be SLES9 + SP2 Making the directory structure ... Copying SLES9 ISO images ... Mounting and copying SLES-9-s390x-RC5a-CD1.iso ... Mounting and copying SLES-9-s390x-RC5-CD2.iso ... Mounting and copying SLES-9-s390x-RC5-CD3.iso ... Mounting and copying SLES-9-s390x-RC5-CD4.iso ... Mounting and copying SLES-9-s390x-RC5-CD5.iso ... Mounting and copying SLES-9-s390x-RC5-CD6.iso ... Copying SLES9 SP2 ISO images ... Mounting and copying SLES-9-SP-2-s390x-GM-CD1.iso ... Mounting and copying SLES-9-SP-2-s390x-GM-CD2.iso ... Mounting and copying SLES-9-SP-2-s390x-GM-CD3.iso ... Removing temporary mount point ... Making symbolic links ... Creating yast/*order files ... Creating files for SLES9 + SP2 The install tree is built under sles9root/ My question, I had the SP1 iso images as well but it seemed to not process them. Is that because SP2 includes and/or supercedes SP1? Thanks. We are about to install SLES9x and I am creating the NFS install directory. Does anyone know if there is a version of the mksles9root script that includes the 3 SLES9x SP2 iso images? Thanks.
