I wasn't sure what he meant by DB2 Collector.  If in fact you mean DB2
Connect, we have customers that are using it without any problems.

DB2 connect works great on SLES8 and SLES9 on zSeries and does not take
up much cpu at all, I have tried both 32 and 64 bit both on SLES9 and
works great.
