Thanks for responding. Under YaST2 Online, I select "Installable Patches" 
under "Show Patch Category". I see all the patches where I want to see 
only the patches that have NOT been applied. If I view the patches, it 
shows the same "alternate version" as the "installed version". The new 
outstanding patches that I have applied disappeared. 

Because I installed with SP2 CDs in the mix, these patches were applied 
but Yast thinks they are outstanding.

I deleted the YaST2 directory and rebooted but it made no difference. This 
is not a corruption problem. I was hoping there was a method to sync them 
up. I just do not want to page through hundreds of patches to find ones 
that are outstanding.

You have some corrupt YaST2 files in /var/lib/YaST2/you/ . Something like 
that there are some files in there that may be corrupt and renaming them 
may fix this issue. Also sometime restarting the guest will also fix this 
i have heard as well.
