Sorry for the really, really late reply, especially if you already got around the problem. It might be counter-intuitive, but I would try reducing the virtual storage, say to 512MB, and to reduce the number of processors to 1.
Also, are there any messages coming out of Hercules that might indicate a problem was encountered?
