First, a hypothetical question directed at I guess IBM (Tivoli), shouldn't the 64bit version be named TIVsm-API.s390x.rpm and not TIVsm-API64.s390.rpm?
Never the less, we use the 32bit versions TIVsm-API.s390.rpm (TIVsm-API-5.3.0-0) and TIVsm-BA.s390.rpm (TIVsm-BA-5.3.0-0) on our 64bit system (suse 2.6.5-7.193-s390x) and they work fine. -----Original Message----- From: Linux on 390 Port [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Peter Rothman Sent: Thursday, August 18, 2005 9:51 AM To: LINUX-390@VM.MARIST.EDU Subject: TSM 64bit API install problem Anybody experience this and know how to get around it? 32bit install works ok. sdatztpf1:/tsm # rpm -i TIVsm-API64.s390.rpm Postinstall of the API IBM TSM Linux API installation complete.
