Congratulations Dennis. Me too; I'm gonna go next month. Just curious: Is retirement of mainframers accelerating? Has it ever occurred where a technology slowly faded away because few young people are interested in learning it? Is it occurring today where applications are totally re-written simply because nobody knows (or is interested to learn) how to maintain the current system?
