I needed a little faster solution. I would like to upgrade to a newer release of Linux, but that will take a while longer.
I have modified chandev.conf using sed and can not access our current LPAR. Well, the z890 was installed over last weekend. However, the person doing the IODF changed the OSA address from c20 to c70. Now I can't access the Linux LPAR except thru the HMC. The Integrated ASCII Console does nothing but give me a black screen and YaST just looks like garbage on the HMC. I know the c20 address is in /etc/modules.conf. Is there some way to make this change?
