Our original configuration had the $ feature for "PAV up to 5 TB" included.

It's a chargeable feature, based on the number of TBs of DASD you want to
support.  If you set aside some of the DASD for open systems, you don't
have
to pay for that portion.  Same deal with Point in Time Copy (flashcopy+).
