Hmm, I don't have to do "sudo lstape" for it to work but "sudo vmcp q v
da" does work.

I only get that message when I run '/usr/bin/vmcp' instead of
'sudo /usr/bin/vmcp' as the user.

Is there anything weird in /etc/pam.d/sudo besides:

#%PAM-1.0
auth       required     pam_stack.so service=system-auth
account    required     pam_stack.so service=system-auth
password   required     pam_stack.so service=system-auth
session    required     pam_limits.so
