Unless you're running with volumes directly attached to a guest by
address (and if so, consider not doing that...), don't worry about it.
Just give the new disks the same volsers, restore the data, and use the
same CP directory entries and it'll Just Work. Among it's other sterling
qualities, VM insulates you from all that hardware stuff. Linux only
cares about virtual addresses inside the guest. 

If you are directly attaching volumes to guests, then as long as the CP
directory entries are the same, and you attach the volumes at the same
logical address on the guest as they were before, then you should be
fine, eg if before you had DEDICATE 991 991 in the directory entry (for
a device at 991) and the new disk is at 10FC, then replace it with
DEDICATE 10FC 991, and Linux won't care in the slightest. 

In any case, seriously think about switching to minidisks if you are
using dedicated volumes. There are advantages to both, but minidisks
make this sort of thing LOTS easier to manage over the long haul.
