Is it possible to install SLES10/RHEL5 on a z9 LPAR and use XEN for the virtualization of linux guests instead of using z/VM? If not, will it be possible in the future? Or will z/VM be the only "hypervisor" able to virtualize the zSeries hardware?
That would mean Xen would need to understand SIE too.
