This bug is a symptom of the "persistent device naming" problem. The
problem of devices having a
different name in the installer and after the first IPL may be solved in
Lenny. It isn't in Lenny
Beta 1 but maybe it will be in Beta 2. When the installer doesn't have
to guess what device /boot
and / will be on fixing this and all the other related problems will be
easy. (Or at least possible.)
