Hi all I had a problem with one of the Linux Lpar's, it looked like something was looping, I could only get into the HMC's console, saw the system was hosed, Did not write down the message number/format etc, thinking I could check the log after the system was back up.
System back up and I check /var/log/messages and cannot find the messages any where. Does the syslog message file get rotated after a reload ?, what other log files are there I can check.
