Your current D DISK is 26 Cylinders and is 99% full. I would run a DISKMAP
USER DIRECT C and locate contiguous GAP or space in the USER DISKMAP file
for 50 or more cylinders. Allocate a "151D" Minidisk to maint in USER
DIRECT, assuming you are currently manually maintaining USER DIRECT. Put
the directory online using the DIRECTXA command.

Logoff MAINT and log back on, or simply issue a LINK * 151D 151D from MAINT
once the directory is online. Then issue an "access 151D L" or any
available FM. Format 151D. Then COPY * * D * * L (OLDD

Once COPY is complete go to user direct and switch 151D with 51D and put
the directory online. Logoff and Logon to MAINT and run your maintenance.

If you need more detailed info, please call.

Do you have MAINT's 51D disk accessed R/W as MAINT's D drive?

In MAINT's profile exec there should be a "ACC 51D D" statement.

We do not know what we are doing wrong. We are z/VM newbies but old
