Couple it with a bastion guest that provides ssh access to a command line,
and there's your console server. Should shut up much whining from Unix
admins -- just as discussed here months ago...8-).

I should probably borrow some code from Zebra and make it look just like a
Cisco terminal server, which would be good from an automation perspective.

I should probably package up an appliance that does this and provides a
restricted shell implementation to put users in the appropriate
straitjacket.

I still like the LAT approach better because it allows assigning consoles to
real terminals outside the box, but no point pissing in the wind.
