Hi, Mark.
The normal 14 point 3270 font has the characters on the screen looking a
bit jagged (or maybe it's just my eyes....). A little more on my setup
here: the laptop screen is running at 1024x768, and I have an external
monitor attached running at 1440x900. The graphical desktop is Gnome.
When I attempt to select a 20 point font in x3270, I get an error
message from Xwindows "the window does not fit on the Xdisplay". I
should also mention that I have configured my X3270 session to be a
model 4: 43x80. Maybe I'll try using a model 3 and see what that looks
like.
I use the 20 point font on model 2: 24x80 and model 4: 43x80.
I don't use model 3: 32x80 but if I did I would probably use the 20
point font on it also.
For model 5: 27x132 I use the 12 point font so I can see the full screen
at one time.
My screen size is 1024x768.
