boxes, perform the financial analysis, loan some hardware for POC,...
Pretty much the whole enchilada. The bulk of the savings are in software
licenses (e.g. ORACLE), not to mention the rats nests of cables....)

Jim Marshall on IBM-MAIN a couple of years back did a zero-based study
from that pick the z boxes over server farms.

In my own case (100+ boxes), the savings in ORACLE licenses alone
justified the exercise.
